Abundant colours radiant
adorning many a beautiful wrist
bridal bangles upto sleeve
colours shimmering in all their glory -
Grandpa's naughty smile
fetching granny's blush
new bangles gleefully
chatting with old on
her colourful wrist-
Dreamy tens awaiting
to adorn rainbow colours singing !
Todya-
Colourful shimmering bangles
trapped in glass cases
staring at bare-wrist
beauties parading by
waiting to joyously jump onto a
loving wirst !
'No buyers' cries the shopkeeper !
an old bangle-seller
without a sling
passes by muttering
'Alas ! A colourful tradition
passing into oblivion'!!
